Ceilidh in March 15th
February 18, 2025We are delighted that we now have a talk arranged for Thursday 20 February at 7.30 pm in Room MR 317, MacRobert Building, King Street, Aberdeen, when Dr Despoina Sampatakou will give a presentation on The Aegean Bronze Age. The event can also be seen on Zoom, using the meeting ID 883 4624 5811. Simply open up the Zoom App, click on Join and enter the number.
Dr Sampatakou is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Aberdeen and a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, specialising in Aegean Bronze Age archaeology and digital storytelling in archaeology. Her work explores how immersive technologies, such as VR and interactive storytelling, can enhance our understanding of the past. So we are looking forward to a fascinating approach to telling the story of The Aegean Bronze Age.
The poster below gives the details of the talk and I would be grateful if you would circulate it widely to encourage attendance.
We look forward to seeing you, either in person or remotely, on 20 February. If you are attending in person, the car park at the MacRobert Building is accessed off King Street, shortly before the junction with St Machar Drive if you are heading North out of town.
