Death announcement
October 22, 2024
You will all, probably, remember the devastating results of the Daniel storm in September 2023 in Thessaly, Greece. The Society raised money (1400 euros) to help the 3rd nursery of Palamas village in Karditsa that was completely destroyed by the floods.
All nursery kids have been accommodated all these months in premises of another village few kilometres away.
In these photos you will be able to see the renovated nursery. Somewhere in the photos you will be able to spot the wooden benches that we have bought for them. Soon the kids will be back to their old school. We are so happy for them and we wish them happy academic year!
A big thank you to those of you who have contributed to this cause.
On the following link you will find more info for the raising funds and the equipment that our society has bought or the nursery.
