The Annual General Meeting of Aberdeen Scottish Hellenic Society was held on the evening of Thursday 5 September at 7.30pm in the Small Hall at St Mary’s Church (corner of King Street and Regent Walk). 

The agenda of the meeting included:

• The annual reports of the Society, Greek Adults classes, Hellenic School and Film club. 
• The Treasurer Mr Mike Shanks has presented the financial statement for 2023-2024.
• The officers and other Committee members were elected.
• A discussion about Society's programme of events for the year ahead as well as other matters of concern to the Society.

Highlight of the night was the 2 medals awarded to students of Greek adults classes. Mr Derek Watt and Miss Naiara Carabias were this year's winners of the ''Loula Solomou-Dalgarno award'' for their distinguished performance in Modern Greek classes.
